The Thermonuclear smoke devil is a boss variant of the Smoke Devil, requiring 93 Slayer to kill. The player must be on task to kill this boss, with the exception of one kill for the Western Provinces Diary. The Thermonuclear smoke devil does a typeless magical ranged attack, so the deflect from magic prayer will do nothing for you. 1. Gear Setup & Recommended Stats 2. Inventory 3. Getting There 4. Drops 5. Fight Mechanics 1. Recommended Stats 80+ Attack, Strength 70+ Defence (For Karils or Dhide) 70+ Prayer (For Piety) Gear Setup Melee: Magic: Replace whatever items you feel necessary, while keeping your magic defense high. The goal is to have a high enough magic defense bonus, so you can mitigate as much damage as possible from Thermy's attacks. A Slayer Helmet or Facemask is required! 3. Inventory Melee: Magic: As stated earlier, deflect from magic will do nothing against this boss. So, we load up our inventory with the best food possible and some super restores or prayer potions for offensive prayers, for example; Piety. 4. Getting There 5. Drops Below are the three most sought after drops from Thermy. Along with these, the boss also drops a fair amount of alchable items, and noted materials.
