So, who decides what the events are going to be? Because since I re-joined the server, there seems to have been no effort made to actually attract and retain new players.
Is the server management not concerned with server growth?
These end game events are only helpful to approx. 7 people who enjoy/have the gear to actually raid, or attempt the inferno.

Since I re-joined, this is the second/third time we're having a raids event.

This is also not a matter of personal preference, as it is pretty obvious the economy is struggling on the server due to lack of items circulating, such as BP, BGS, Zenyte jewellery, etc....
Why not have events that actually address these issues? Maybe a Zulrah event , or a Cerberus event..... you know, something that will help new players overcome the mid-game hump. Instead what we got was, "We'll add blowpipe to the mystery box, and other items as needed" .. lol?
I will mention, BXP is about the only useful thing for these players at the moment that occurs.

What it seems like, is 5-7 players that have reached end game have the management's ear, and this would make sense as all these events cater to those individuals.

People are joining the server and quitting before they ever reach end-game. Tragic decision making on the part of management.

How about an actual focus on attracting and retaining new players?
